THE STUDIO & BOOKING PROCESS

My photography studio (Néné Fortier Photography) is located downtown Timmins, Ontario. I have 40+ different backdrops to choose from and lots of furniture, props & lighting to personalize your set. I am slowly working on building a studio closet as well. Are you going for something dark and moody? Soft and bright? Colorful and dramatic? There are so many options to pick from and I’m so excited to hear what you have in mind for our set. If any of these backdrops stand out to you, let me know and I’ll make sure to have it set up when you come into the studio.

OUTFITS & PHOTOSHOOT PREP

You will need to provide your own lingerie and bra and panty sets however I do have some gorgeous robes, corsets, tights, fishnet dresses, sheer covers and body jewelry in the studio. Most of my studio closet fits sizes Small-Large but my feathered robes fit up to XXL. I am happy to help you plan outfit(s) if you’d like some suggestions. My feathered robes have a rental fee for dry cleaning but my lace robes and fishnet body covers are free to borrow!

Photoshoot Prep
-Pack a matching pair of shoes and any jewellery or accessories you’d like to add to your set.
-If you booked the standard or premium session you can bring a few different shades of lipstick to change it up between outfits.
-Some clients like to incorporate a garment or prop from their partner to really personalize their portraits. This can be anything from an oversized sweater to a guitar, tie, hat, sports jersey or equipment.
-Stretching is highly recommended, some of these poses can be a little awkward.
-Sometimes a little music helps calm the nerves, feel free to create a playlist of your favorite songs for us to vibe to during your session.

What Package is best for me?
All of my boudoir packages include professionally edited digital files in both color and black & white. The files will be delivered to you through a private download gallery. If you would prefer the files on a USB it can be added to your package for an additional $10.00 or free with the premium package. The best package for your vision will depend on how many outfit/set changes you wanted to include.

Extras – Rental

Feather Robe Rental
I have two sheer floor length feathered robes in the studio for rent in black and champagne. Amazing for both boudoir, pin-up and maternity sessions. If you would like to see a a specific color in my client closet please let me know and I will take it into consideration when ordering my next big floof. They are $25.00 to rent for your photoshoot, see images below.

Polaroid & Instax Photos
I’ve been in love with instant print cameras since my very first Izone circa 1999 so it only made sense to add some instant prints as an add on. These days I’m shooting with a polaroid OneStep 2 and fujifilm Instax Mini. The film for these camera’s come in all sorts of colors and even some different image shapes so make sure to specify what you would like ahead of our session and the amount of instant prints you would like. I’ve got lots of classic film for both camera’s but specialty colors/shapes might need to be ordered.

Polaroid i-type color or black & white photos start at $50.00+tax for 6-8 square prints
Instax Mini add on photos start at $35.00+tax for 8-10 prints

FAQ

Do you travel outside of the studio for boudoir sessions?
Yes, If you wanted to schedule a session in your home I can travel to your for an additional fee.

How old do I have to be?
You have to be 18 years or older to book a boudoir session in my studio, I’ll be asking for ID if you look suspiciously youthful.

Do I have to wear lingerie?
Not at all, what you wear depends entirely on what makes you feel sexy. If lingerie isn’t your thing you can bring a cute dress or outfit, oversized shirts/sweaters with thigh high socks, shorts/skirts, suits, basically anything that boosts your confidence.

How many outfits should I bring?
This will depend on the package you wanted to book. My basic package includes one outfit but you are welcomed to bring a couple if you are undecided and would like my opinion. The standard includes 2 outfits and the premium package includes up to 5.

Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and make-up is not included in any of my photography packages. If you wanted to get your hair and make-up done at the studio before our photoshoot please let me know and I can provide with you with a few quotes.

How long does the session take?
Each package has a different timeframe, the basic is typically 30 minutes of shooting time, the standard is 1 hour and the premium package is 2-2.5 hours of shooting time. These times can vary a little depending on the time it takes to change sets and outfits.

Do I have to have modeling experience?
Not at all! You don’t need any experience, just your cute self and outfits. Rest assured that I’ll guide you into every pose and be your personal cheerleader throughout the photoshoot.

Will my photos be posted publicly?
Every gallery will be kept private by default unless I have been given direct permission to post. I’m always excited to add more photos to my portfolio but I am just as happy keeping your gallery private.

How long before I get my photos?
My turn around time is typically 1-2 weeks, if you are in a rush and need edits for a certain date please specify with me ahead of time.

Can you help me with posing?
Of course! Unless you have a specific pose in mind that you’d like to recreate for your session you shouldn’t have to think about it at all. Leave the posing up to me, I’ll guide you every step of the way.

When is payment due?
Full payment is due at the time of your session. If you need a slight extension, I am happy to accommodate but do not deliver any edits until the full payment has been received.
